These are companies who manipulate Google search results by using black-hat SEO techniques. For example, spamming large sites which allow users to create pages, like a variety of Wiki pages, Slideshare, Quora, etc. They also create their own sites and engage in link schemes in order to rank higher for search terms such as "COMPANY tech support" and similar searches. The results that appear in Google search have a phone number posted, so that users dial it without visiting the spammy page itself. If you search any of these numbers on Google you're bound to find them connected to a variety of company names such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Dell, HP, antivirus software, etc. I hope y
