On Sunday, January 4, 2026 I purchased a Yard Glider from Yardglider.com as a gift for my husband. The item cost me $324.00. The next morning (January 5, 2026) less than 24 hours after making the purchase. I called their customer service phone number (850) 292-9695 in order to cancel my order since my husband said he did not need this it. When I called, the person answered but it was not clear so he text me back immediately stating, "This is William with Yard Glider. I'm in a lot of noise and can't answer. Can I help via text?" So we began texting back and forth regarding my request to cancel my order. I explained the situation and he agreed and said, "I will get it canceled for you." The next day, January 6, 2026 I texted him back and asked when my purchase would be refunded and cancelled. He responded two days later on January 8, 2026 stating, "It should be showing by tomorrow. I'll also forward the confirmation from my side." I waited but no confirmation was receive and my credit card was charged. On Monday, January 12, 2026 morning, I texted him again and said that I didn't receive the refund and asked if he could provide an update. He didn't respond back until the next day in the afternoon, stating, "Yes, canceled and refunded. I will double check with my processor when I get back from the shop. We don't do many refunds, but haven't had any issues in the past but I'll still triple check it." I replied okay that I would try to work it out with him. He then replied back, "I really appreciate that. We've only ever had a couple of cc complaints over the last 5 years and they take forever to resolve. I'll update you this afternoon or evening." I waited patiently for four days and inquired again about the refund since my credit card still showed there was not refund.
