The callers failed to provide legally required written debt validation, did not provide verifiable business credentials, and implied legal consequences. The company names used do not correspond with any legitimate debt listed on my credit report. The calls originated from multiple toll-free numbers (855-426-5586 and 1-877-310-6791), indicating rotating or “snowball” spoofing, a known tactic used to evade detection. The pattern strongly suggests the use of VoIP phone services to perpetrate fraud and mask the true origin of the calls. Under no circumstances should recipients call these numbers back. Doing so may confirm your phone number as active and lead to further harassment or fraud attempts.
