Shipping company never was up front about pricing and continuously requested more and more money after initial payment provided. Would NOT take credit cards, only cash apps or apple gift cards. Saw the red flags but were provided pictures of dog then they used the threats of taking puppy to shelter and filing animal abandonment charges against us. Would not release puppy even back (so it seems) to the breeder without fees and fines. We ran out of money, continuing to believe there really was a puppy life in the balance. Fees cannot be legitimate, argued - negotiated - lost $9700 to shipping company, $1000 to the breeder (initially paid breeder $1100 but they returned $100 as it was designated to shipping fees specifically). If breeder is part of the scan then so are the other buyers I spoke with via 'chat's. Thought perhaps I was naive in how puppies shipped but the prices being asked for were extremely inflated and the entire thing felt like extortion. Maxed out cash app abilities to pay and eventually ran out of cash period (even though it was indicated multiple times there was a refund to be issued) 859-216-4145 and 818-839-0286 were the two shippers working with.
