I am filing this complaint because the seller operating on the Walmart Marketplace engaged in fraudulent and deceptive business practices that harmed me as a consumer. The seller provided a tracking number that was immediately suspicious, showing an impossible, circular route (e.g., New Jersey to China and back), demonstrating the number was synthetic and not associated with a legitimate package. Despite clear evidence of this fraudulent tracking, Walmart Customer Service failed to act and relied on the seller's unproven Estimated Delivery Date of December 5th. Only after I escalated the issue and filed a Chargeback Dispute with my bank on December 2nd did the tracking number suddenly update to show a single domestic scan in Indianapolis, Indiana. The timing of this "real" domestic scan, without any corresponding US Customs history, proves the seller manipulated or injected synthetic tracking data only after the chargeback was filed to falsely show "proof of life" for the package and delay the dispute process.
