I was charged $291 by “Health 800-269-3563.” I blocked my card immediately. The documentation they sent clearly shows this is NOT real health insurance, not ACA compliant, not COBRA, and only a limited discount/supplement plan disguised as insurance. The PDF contract states: – “This is not major medical insurance.” – “This does not comply with the Affordable Care Act.” – “This does not replace major medical, COBRA, Medicare, or Medicaid.” – “None of the preventive services are covered at a hospital.” The representative falsely implied this was legitimate insurance and that payment was needed to “secure my spot.” The number +1 (877) 959-8475 has been previously reported in BBB Scam Tracker as part of a healthcare scam.
