I called what appeared to be Budget Rental help desk (888) 366-6005 . It was not. They asked for information related to the rental to be able to change my drop-off location. I realized it was likely a scam after they kept asking for information that should have been in the rental agreement from the rental agreement number I provided. I canceled my CC while on hold with them and hung up after. They called back; I called them out, and they couldn’t answer me.
