It is a scam in the category of "Pig Butchering" https://www.investopedia.com/pig-butchering-scams-8605501 The website employed is https://brandcampdigitaltop.com I lost over $1,000 to a sophisticated cryptocurrency fraud operating on WhatsApp. Here is exactly how it worked so you can protect yourself and others: HOW THE SCAM WORKS: • You are contacted via WhatsApp and assigned a personal "customer service agent" (mine was named Rebecca). • You are told to complete daily "optimization tasks" on a fake work platform, which supposedly earn commissions. • Tasks require depositing Bitcoin to complete "orders." The platform uses professional language, sign-in streak bonuses, and fake customer service to appear legitimate. • A "Lucky Bonus" (in my case $50) is added to your account to build trust and encourage you to keep going. • You eventually hit "premium orders" that require larger Bitcoin deposits. These cannot be cancelled or skipped — you are trapped. • All funds sent are stolen immediately. There is no real platform, no real commissions, and no way to withdraw funds.
