Community Reports

My mother got a message on her landline claiming to be from our county's 'Process Server Office' stating they are calling because a summons notice was attempted regarding my grandfather who has been deceased for several years. They said certain documents were sent back and that a bailiff was going to report to the house if the issue was not resolved immediately. The phone number had a local area code (915-933-1619) and was listed as DocServers24 TX on the caller ID. After searching the name, it is a common phone scam going back a couple years. Please do not pick up or interact. They are phishing for sensitive information. Do not pick up even if the area code is local. If you do not recognize the number, chances are it is a scam.
