Experian called to lower my interest rates... not. **Involved Numbers:** 210-301-0307 and 973-936-9865. **Description:** My phone rang and it initially showed up as my cell phone calling my cell phone, if that makes sense. I hung up and the "representative" called me back from the 210 number. The 973 number rang me during the call and I suspect it's part of the same scam. This gentleman with an Indian accent told me he was with Experian and that he wanted to lower my credit card interest rates. He asked me to provide my credit card number and expiration date. He told me that the number he wanted started with a "4"; I said, "dude. ALL Visa cards start with a 4." He was extremely insistent and eventually I hung up on him a second time. No callback after that.
