Lady called and explained my Hyundai Veloster warranty was up for renewal. They needed my car mileage. I did give her my mileage, then she transferred me to another line for verification. she proceeded to tell me about the lawsuit that happened with Hyundai and them providing used parts on the cars. That the new coverage will be cheaper and also when i take it to the dealer the cost for a lot of services would be 200.00. She also stated that it would be 99.00 to proceeded with my service for renewal and then next month it would be 105.00 a month. I asked her would i have to pay that 99.00 each year for renewal she stated no. I asked her if this was car shield whom I'm with and she went into why Hyundai had the lawsuit. I then asked her are you car shield? She stated no. I asked her why is she saying its my warranty needs to be renewed and why are they trying to get my information and proceeded getting money from me? I told her is falsified information to me about the warranty with a company I'm not with? I asked 3 times for the company information and location. She refused and hung up on me. This company has my first and last name, my car info and I'm not sure if they have my home address. This does not fit well with me knowing a company would stoop to this level of lies and approaching people like this. This company needs to be placed on alert due to there unprofessional work ethics on being sneaking on getting business.
