A robocall calling itself American Financial Relief promises to reduce or erase your balances. Then a live caller posing as a state processing unit says you are being sued and threatens wage garnishment, liens, and seven years of credit damage. The case is invented. The relief offer is bait to get you to call back and hand over your details.
