Buyer Beware, Camping World/Good Sam is a Scam *Posting this for a friend on FB* I purchased an RV motor home from the Liberty Lakes, WA location of Camping World on 10/11. Since then, it’s been one breakdown after another and I still haven’t gotten it all the way from Washington to my destination of Pueblo, Colorado. During price negotiations two days prior on the 9th, I was directly told that the LP/propane system had been completely replaced, which was supposed to justify the recent increase in sales price. On the 9th I toured and inspected the vehicle with my fiance Thor. At that time, when I put down a $500 cash deposit on the vehicle, I was told Camping World would perform a safety inspection and the vehicle would not be ready for purchase until that was complete, on October 11th. We began driving the RV from the Spokane area to our home in Pueblo, CO the next afternoon, October 12th. At that point in time it became evident that the turn signals were no longer working, the front cabin heater was malfunctioning, and a part had been removed from the step assembly since our inspection of the vehicle on 10/9. By the time we reached Missoula, MO on the morning of the 13th, we realized there was a leakage. After determining that the leak was gasoline but not finding appropriate RV repair facilities in the area, we pressed on to Salt Lake City, UT where we knew another location of Camping World to be. At that point in time, I spoke with various people at the Camping World location in Draper, UT, at the location in Liberty Lakes, WA and with the corporate offices. I will forward on to you the email I sent to corporate at that time. The LL location agreed at that point, with pressure from corporate, to replace the step assembly, have the gas tank repaired, and the turn signals fixed. We thought the situation was salvageable, despite having spent more than a week delayed in Utah. We resumed travel the morning we got our RV back, Friday October 25th. The next morni
