On February 13, 2026 I was looking for a full way flight from Las Vegas to Long beach. I found the tickets that worked with my schedule and purchased them from Bestticketfare.com. On the website, the flight was a nonstop flight on from Las Vegas 6:00 pm arriving Long Beach 7:10 pm. Price per adult show $169.00 for a total. I made the purchase and received an email stating that booking was confirmed and I would receive e-tickets shortly. a couple hours later the company called me to tell me that the tickets I purchased were "promotional" tickets and they were restricted. I could not bring any baggage, I was not guaranteed a seat, etc. I would have to upgrade my tickets. The price to upgrade those tickets would be an additional $250/person. So the total price for the flight would now be $419 for these same tickets. I could not cancel the tickets I would have to forfeit my payment or upgrade. I was told that unless I upgraded I would not be able to get a flight and I would lose my money. They then tried to find me a flight that was not such a high priced upgrade but the flight was at a different time using a different airline. That's the best they could do. I felt like I had no other choice but to make the upgrade and pay the higher amounts. They found me a flight that I would "only" have to fly to a different airport which I did not select at time of the booking. I was so confused and upset by this point. This is a scam and this company should not be able to bait and switch these prices. They told me that it was clearly labeled on the website as a promotional ticket but I did not see any fine print about a promotional ticket price. I was coerced into making an upgrade because I would otherwise be without a flight and would lose my money. I refused to spend more money on the business is not upright and honest. This is a SCAM!!! While search for Cheap Flights, I found this site on the web. They quoted me $414.38 for Round trip non-stop American Airlines, SRQ to DWF. Flight No.AA-2679 Depart Tuesday, March 24th & Return March 25th. I received a Booking Ref.No 89QMLT. Then a day later receive 3 emails stating they needed to get in touch with me, they needed additional information. I called them and they said: This my flight was not a confirmed reservation. i had to fly on Wednesday and come back on Friday. I clearly told them my dates were not flexible and this was business. They did not care, Said if I cancel they will be charging $199.00. Also stated in the conversation, I was not guaranteed a seat and could not bring a carry-on. I told them I was calling my credit card company, American Airlines as well as BBB. he said, do what you have to do. This is our policy. Now i had to book the same flight for $800.00. This Bestticketfare.com need to be stopped in their tracks and close down the site. On March 13, 2026, I viewed an online advertisement on BestTicketFare.com for a one-way nonstop flight from Houston (IAH) to Los Angeles (LAX) on March 19 for $181.99 (and $172.89 if booked by phone). I proceeded to book online and received a “Booking Successful” confirmation with reference number MGBCUX, stating my e-ticket would arrive within a few hours. No ticket was issued. On March 15, I was contacted by a representative (“Levi”) and told to call regarding my booking. When I spoke with another representative, Abby, I was informed the original fare was no longer available. I was instead offered significantly higher-priced options, flights with long layovers, or travel dates up to five days later than requested. These alternatives were up to nearly three times the advertised price. At the same time, the company continued advertising the same original fare online, indicating the price was never truly available. During the process, I was told a partial charge (approximately $100) had been placed on my card; however, Abby later stated no charges were actually processed. This inconsistency raises further concerns about deceptive billing practices. The website presents conflicting information: it states fares are inclusive and implies price stability, while fine print discloses fares are based on “historical data” and not guaranteed. At no point during booking was it clearly disclosed that the selected flight could be unavailable or that the price was not real-time. Abby was dismissive and accusatory, stating I should have known the dates were flexible, despite my selection of a specific flight, date, and airport. As a result, I lost critical time and now have only three days to secure travel at significantly higher market prices. This deceptive practice has already cost me over $300 and caused substantial inconvenience. This appears to be a bait-and-switch scheme designed to lure consumers [BBB Scam Type: Travel/Vacation/Timeshare] [Business: BestTicketFare] [Locati
