I purchased an airfare ticket on justairticket.com, then someone calls me and hour later to tell me it was only a standby ticket with not even a personal item or carry on allowance. Then they wanted to charge me $60 to "upgrade" it to an actual ticket. Then he changed it to $70 for an actual ticket. I'm still not allowed any luggage or even a personal item at this point. When I booked the ticket, the website said that there was 24 hour cancellation, but when I tried to cancel, they said that I could either 1.) get an e-credit with one specific airline, and it takes 7-14 business days to process, 2.) or I can get a cash refund, but they will charge me about 50% of what you spent as a cancellation fee. When I booked the ticket I clearly recalled that there was a "free 24 hour cancellation" policy, but this is an outright lie. Then the guy says that if I hold on for a few minutes he will contact the airline and try to talk the price down. After being on hold for a few minutes, he says the airline is willing to charge me only an additional $40 to "upgrade" to a real ticket. What had I spent $329 on - air?! I just want to get my ticket and get on with my day, so I tell him to just charge the $40. He then says that someone from the airlines will contact me within the hour to confirm my booking information. Two hours go by and no one calls me, so I called the (201) 942-1029 phone number and speak to a Rihanna who refused to answer my yes/no question - do I have a ticket or not? She says she needs to verify my information first. They have all my information already! I told her that it was a simple yes/no question and that she should just answer it before wasting both of our time to verify a maybe booking. She said she couldn't help me and transferred me to someone else. Now the new guy tells me that I still don't have a ticket because the basic economy, [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Justairticket.com] [Location: CA,
On February 13, 2026 I was looking for a full way flight from Las Vegas to Long beach. I found the tickets that worked with my schedule and purchased them from Bestticketfare.com. On the website, the flight was a nonstop flight on from Las Vegas 6:00 pm arriving Long Beach 7:10 pm. Price per adult show $169.00 for a total. I made the purchase and received an email stating that booking was confirmed and I would receive e-tickets shortly. a couple hours later the company called me to tell me that the tickets I purchased were "promotional" tickets and they were restricted. I could not bring any baggage, I was not guaranteed a seat, etc. I would have to upgrade my tickets. The price to upgrade those tickets would be an additional $250/person. So the total price for the flight would now be $419 for these same tickets. I could not cancel the tickets I would have to forfeit my payment or upgrade. I was told that unless I upgraded I would not be able to get a flight and I would lose my money. They then tried to find me a flight that was not such a high priced upgrade but the flight was at a different time using a different airline. That's the best they could do. I felt like I had no other choice but to make the upgrade and pay the higher amounts. They found me a flight that I would "only" have to fly to a different airport which I did not select at time of the booking. I was so confused and upset by this point. This is a scam and this company should not be able to bait and switch these prices. They told me that it was clearly labeled on the website as a promotional ticket but I did not see any fine print about a promotional ticket price. I was coerced into making an upgrade because I would otherwise be without a flight and would lose my money. I refused to spend more money on the business is not upright and honest. This is a SCAM!!! On November 13, 2025, I made what I understood to be one-time purchases on Publicrecords.us. I received two email receipts: Receipt #1 (Nov 13, 2025): “Thanks for your purchase. We have added Standard Report upgrade to your account.” Amount: $4 (MasterCard ----) “Charge will appear as PUBLICRECORDS.US.” Receipt #2 (Nov 13, 2025): “Thanks for your purchase. We have added PDF Reports to your account.” Amount: $7 (MasterCard ----) “Charge will appear as PUBLICRECORDS.US.” Neither receipt indicates that these purchases would enroll me in a subscription or recurring plan. There is no mention of “subscription,” “recurring,” “auto-renew,” renewal frequency, future billing amounts, or clear cancellation/renewal terms. After these purchases, recurring charges began on my card that I did not knowingly authorize: • Dec 1: $5 • Dec 16: $5 • Jan 2: $5 • Jan 17: $20 • Feb 2: $20 • Feb 17: $20 Total recurring charges: $75. Suspicious billing pattern: The charges began as small recurring amounts ($5) and continued for multiple cycles before increasing to a much higher amount ($20). This escalation—without clear notice or affirmative consent—raised concern for me because it resembles a “test charge” pattern, where small charges are run repeatedly and then increased after a customer may not notice the initial transactions. I cannot speak to intent, but the pattern is inconsistent with what I would expect from a transparent subscription enrollment and upgrade process. I was able to cancel the subscription and received confirmation that no further charges will occur, but I have not received a refund for the recurring charges listed above. .css-c8hvdp{--Grid-columns:12;-webkit-flex-direction:row;-ms-flex-direction:row;flex-direction:row;min-width:0;box-sizing:border-box;display:-webkit-box;display:-webkit-flex;display:-ms-flexbox;display:flex;-webkit-box-fl [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: publicrecords] [Location: OH, USA- 44121]
Google pay linked to the google app store. IFax ad states free fax with trial cancel any time. After downloading the app i attempted to fax 5 sheets. My insurance agent was on the phone and confirmed no fax came through. My bank texted me an alert that a 169.00 charge was made. I never authorized the prompt to pay or upgrade. Within minutes i called my bank and opened a fraud case, cancelled the bank card and began emailing google pay and Ifax through the app. No customer service # option. Googlw pay shows subscriptions for 2 plans very misleading. Google shows cancelation issued but no refund initiated. Ifax emailed stating that google has to issue the refund since its a google app purchase. I never received a prompt to pay for the 2nd upgrade. It is a scam. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 6 / var(--Grid-parent-columns) - (var(--Grid-parent-columns) - 6) [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: IFax] [Location: CA, USA- 92056]

My wife and I lost a Cat ( passed away ) we found Max's Maine Coons on facebook market. The person on the line was friendly and had just the Kitten we were looking for. A Orange Tabby Maine Coon Female she was sweet and loving and just what we wanted. we spoke to the ( supposed ) breeder and was quoted a price of $700 for the kitten and a $200 dollar deposit. After paying the deposit and signing the adoption contract as well as pay the balance the kitten was said to be handed off to the Delivery company. ( reliable global post logistics ). we were then asked to choose a delivery insurance plan apparently to protect the kitten in transit. this fee was $500 and the kitten was reportedly sent to a pet nanny for a few days till the delivery could be made this was a fee of $200. on the day the delivery was supposed to happen we were told the cat needed to be checked at the vet for the shot she required for shipping. thought that would be straight forward as the contract with the breeder stated all vaccinations were completed ( not the case ) and in order to deliver the kitten another fee of $400 was collected. yet again the delivery had to be posponed as the delivery truck that the kitten was supposed to be on left with out her. Instead of the company holding her for 1 night there solution was to try and charge me an additional $300 to upgrade the insurance and get her on a privet delivery truck or $70 for the over night stay and the kitten would be on the truck the next day. I opted for the over night expecting the kitten sometime the next day but she never showed and the dispatch went complete radio silent for the next 29 hrs. When they reached out the next day the excuse was a car accident because of some weather issue. we were told the delivery would be made the next day but it never happened. My wife was heart broken and hysterical with tears this was meant to be her kitten a fresh s [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Max's Maine Coons] [Location:
