ok i booked a room on google travel with a website called brek.com i paid for it with my card they charged me 60 dollars. i get to the hotel and its closed not even open under construction. i called both places the hotel and the booking company and both of them said it was non refundable. i understand that but why was that hotel even showing up online if its been shut down since February. I had to pay for another room at a nearby hotel because brek would not accommodate me or let me get another room at a different hotel. I have screenshots of the receipts and everything. I swear the hotel and that company are working together im sure im not the only person this has happend to. If the place has been shut down since feb. why are you still advertising rooms available? I just cant believe it. They had no sympathy didnt even apologize i wish i could sue them I know its only 60 dollars but its the way they took my money from me and think there getting away with it [BBB Scam Type: Travel/Vacation/Timeshare] [Business: Brek hotel bookings] [Location: MN, USA- 56633]
