DexBaseCoins.com scam? I got a message on discord saying that I won a lottery of a random amount of Bitcoin by putting a promo code into an account. Being apart of a few NFT and crypto groups, I was still wary but also a tad hopeful. I looked into the website on google and didn’t find anything saying to watch out for scams and the actual website also seemed legit. I went through the process to make an account, did the promo code and “won” .35 BTC. I tried to transfer it to my wallet and the site said I needed to Verify my account by depositing .01 BTC into the DexBaseCoin wallet. I did not do that, but I still wonder if that’s a normal ask for a wallet site? I have coinbase and they didn’t ask for anything like that. It feels to good to be true, but I wanted to put this out there to either make others aware of it or just get answers. It feels very “Nigerian Prince” scam to me.
