I googled "renew passport" and the first epassport.us was the first to come up. Because of the .us, I thought it was the official government site. I thought I was renewing my passport online, but instead, I paid $153 for them to autofill all the information I entered into the passport application, which they then instructed me to print out and mail to the passport office. I'm also very uncomfortable that I gave them all my personal information (that is required to renew your passport.) The number one search result on Google for "passport renewal" is epassport.us - which I clicked on believing it to be the official government website. Upon going through the process, only to discover the payment was made and personal data collected to a scam company. I was trying to renew my passport and went to epassport.us thinking it was legit site. I gave them all of my personal information. Two days after my application was processed I had $2000 dollars stolen from my account and sent to “Coinbase” I’ve never heard of coinbase. I visited what I believed was the official U.S. government passport website. The company "ePassport.us" appears in search results and uses design elements that make it seem like a government-affiliated service. At no point during the process was it clearly disclosed that this is a third-party, non-government website. I was charged $149.90 for what I believed to be my passport book but no that was just a "processing fee" because I got charged an additional $130 for the actual passport book. I am still unclear what exactly I paid for and what was included in the $149.90. I even emailed the company to send an itemized receipt and they did not respond. I also emailed asking for the immediate deletion of all my personal information and requesting a written confirmation and they did not respond. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 6 / var(--Grid-par [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: epassport.us] [Location: CO, USA - 80222]

Google search passport and the first link that popped up was epassport.us. Assuming this was an official site (.us address and the first link that pops up) I naively put in my info for the renewal application and payment information. Was charged $119 fee for the forms and then was charged an additional $130 (maybe legit from travel.state.gov) but unsure what will happen next. If not illegal, very misleading. I mistakenly though EPassport.us was a government website for passports. I filled out the form with all of my personal information and paid via debit card. The form I had filled out was not even the correct form and I had to redo it at the post office. They refuse to give any refunds. epassport.us and JZ CONSULTING & REAL ESTATE masks their website as a U.S. Government (State Department) website for passport renewals. They pay search engines for priority listings and consequently, Google and other sites will steer you to this fraudulent site for passport renewal services. This is a scam. epassport.us has no method to fulfill any passport services. Dollars Lost [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Epassport.us] [Location: CT, USA - 06883]
I tried to get a replacement passport for my wife on epassport.us. We entered all of her PPI. When we tried to process the payment, the charge was declined and then I realized the site was fraudulent.
