Freeshipping.com is a fraud, scam website- AVOID!!
I ordered some makeup from a company called Laura Geller, and during checkout, I was asked to use freeshipping.com to track my package… now I have been charged by freeshipping.com for a membership fee (a month later) that I never agreed to. Apparently, they do this to a lot of people if you search it on google. There must be some sneaky fine print that they are using to get away with this, but that shouldn’t be allowed to continue. Also, when I went to their website to try and cancel it… I had to use the password reset option because I don’t recall ever creating a password for this website, just the Laura Geller one. Then the password reset wouldn’t work because no matter what password I tried to create it kept saying “invalid credentials” or “doesn’t meet requirements”. I am beyond frustrated that this company has my bank account info and I can’t even login to their website to cancel a subscription that I never agreed to. I was purchasing a bouquet of flowers from a different website. FreeShipping.com popped up on screen as i was placing my order saying I was being given a delivery rebate with the information i had just provided the flower company. I must have checked a box or something but never agreed to give them money. They charged me $2 last week to test my card and i didn’t notice. My card alerted me that they attempted to charge me $19 this morning without my involvement. My credit card company declined the charge luckily.
