I gave you my email address because the one they gave me was illegitimate. Everything about them is fraudulent. I have gotten my money back via Paypal but these people change their websites often - I think. MEC is the name they use, but MEC is also a legit company not affiliated with these thief's. When checking out there was a hiccup, but in reality they were just trying to get me to re enter my info, which I stupidly did. In essence they took 2 payments for one pair of shoes. When I tried to contact them I realized everything was fake. They are using several sites: https://www.w4blackfriday.com/?tid=246319 and https://www.cavdu.shop/?tid=246319 [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Unknown] [Location: MD, USA- 20866]

I was searching through Google and searched Asics Gel Excite 9 Women Sz 10 Running Tennis Shoe Ortholite Barely Rose White and saw a lot of sites selling them, but the site selling them for $38 is the one I went to. I added 3 to my cart, and a message said the card didn't go through and asked me for another one. I knew my card was valid, so I reattempted the same card. This time it processed, but it took at least 3-4 mins to say order confirmed. After that, it asked for my cell number to register my account, but that page kept saying it failed and said "Captcha error". I never saw the charge, so I figured it didn't go through, but the next day I got a call, and the caller ID said my bank name and had their 800# too, and they claimed to be the fraud dept calling to see if I tried taking $500 out through a cash app. I believed them and told them it wasn't me, and immediately checked my online bank account, and saw nothing unauthorized, and I locked my card. They told me that wasn't enough, they think it was an internal scam at my actual bank, and said I could lose all my checking and savings money in one click if I didn't stay on the line for them to help me close my entire account and reopen it securely. I kept saying I'd just go to the direct bank and didn't want to talk on the phone about this, and they got upset, saying they were the actual fraud dept, and the bank wasn't able to help as they were a different team. I just hung up and called and cancelled my card, and luckily, no money was lost except $700 worth of refunds I need still that were paid through the now closed card. I copied their website before this all happened, which was under https://www.cavdu.shop/?ggcid=429829, but of course, it's now showing "Site can't be found" I know the browser only showed their name as DC and it looked like they forged it to als [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: the website name in the browser j
