Indian scammers here in the USA. I found them on the website https://www.usa-appliance-repair.com, and after calling the number, they had "Sam" from "All Appliance Repair" (not even sure this is the legit name of the business) come out for my initial appointment. DO NOT USE this website!! "Sam" - aka "Neeraj", will initially come to your house, fiddle with your appliance, make a phone call speaking Hindi, and tell you it will cost $689 to repair. He then asks for $350 as down payment (only accepts a check) before "scheduling" a return date to fix. But he will never return. The Indian call center is rude, and they won't answer your calls. Don't give this guy any money, they will take it and run. I failed to notice several red flags: 1) no address on the invoice 2) he didn't even completely fill out the invoice 3) I didn't notice the phone numbers were different from the website and the invoice, and 4) this is 2025 - EVERY legitimate business accepts credit card, paypal, venmo, etc. NOBODY uses checks! They WANT checks because once it is cashed, it's gone. Two individuals are associated with this entity: Neeraj Kandhari and Rinku Mahal, both of Indian decent, with a residential "business" address of ***** ******** St, Ashburn, VA. The scammer drives a gray, Toyota Tacoma truck, with VA license plate ********. A police report was submitted to the Fairfax County and Loudoun County Police Departments.
