The scammers sent me an official-looking card with 'IMPORTANT NOTICE: RESPONSE NEEDED' as the header, claiming it was regarding my mortgage with Movement Mortgage LLC and instructing me to call 833-382-7278. They were impersonating Movement Mortgage LLC and wanted me to call back about an urgent mortgage matter, clearly trying to get me to divulge sensitive financial information. I became suspicious when I realized the timing seemed to coincide with my recent loan closing, suggesting they were specifically targeting new mortgage borrowers.

Received a card titled “IMPORTANT NOTICE: RESPONSE NEEDED.” It went on to say “[My name], This notice is regarding your mortgage with MOVEMENT MORTGAGE LLC. We need you to call us about an important matter regarding this loan. This is time sensitive so please call us at 833-382-7278 as soon as possible.” [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Movement Mortgage LLC] [Location: GA, USA - 30134]

The company claims to be Mortgage Services Group, LLC, 877-899-1809. Recently, the real mortgage Company Movement Mortgage LLC, retired, and our managed mortgage was assigned to another individual. The US Postal mail solicitor stressed that a response was needed immediately IMPORTANT NOTICE and provided us with a mortgage ID: 60489-422-706. I called my established telephone numbers for my established Movement Mortgage LLC.
