I parked in this parking lot on 3/14/26 at 6:44 PM , I paid the $5.00 fee to park in the lot for 24 hours. I returned to pick up my vehicle the next day 3/15/26 at 1:59 PM. I recieved a "Letter of Non-compliance today demanding I pay $97.00 or be reported to collections!? I have a statement from my credit card company showing I paid. The violation says it was for " Expired Permit /Facility registration. I think I am being scammed and after researching, this semms to be a common practice for this company. Signs with Public Parking. Anything regarding pay is not immediately visible to patrons. Plently of actual city ran lots have signs, pay stations, and signage for people to easily acknowledge you must pay. This organization doesn't have proper signage. Many people complain that even if they pay they recieve tickets. Company has horrible customer support. I paid, have a receipt and a CC statement showing I paid, and got this. This company, which has been sued several times, according to a quick Google search, including class action and CO state attorney lawsuits, did not put out a "notice number" on the attached. Parking lot entrance sign stated $16 all day. We parked for two hours and attempted to pay with the app but there was no option to pay. Before we left, we stopped in front of the gate to look for any employees, attendants, and signs regarding payment methods but did not see any. We tried to contact with phone number but was ignored. We later received a bill for 637.5% more than advertised. We would like to report this business for deceptive practices. When we received the bill, we contacted the recovery services number to state our situation but the representative, Ari, did not assist us in a satisfactory manner. Ari said "You are not the only person this happened to and you are not the only person who will file a complaint with the BBB." We would like some type of resolution so this deceptive practice and business will not deceive others in the future. They sent out a notice of non-compliance for my car when I paid for parking in the parking lot. I submitted the claim proving my payment but they denied the claim. This whole thing is a scam for people who legitimately paid and getting threatened that this fine if unpaid will be going to debt collection affecting one's credit. I parked in a lot and paid $22.91 to a website (ParkMobile). Now we get a notice in the mail with a photo of our car entering and leaving the lot. And they expect us to pay for “Non-Compliance. I was sent a collection notice for $55 for parking at a parking lot at the following address: 226 Avenue E, San Antonio, TX 78205. Pictures of my vehicle were included. I had paid and have a receipt for parking at the time the notice was sent for. I looked online and many people have been fraudently sent collection notices from this company: Parking Revenue Recovery Services, Inc and wanted to file my experience with the BBB. I am uploading a copy of the attempt to collect and my proof of payment for the parking. I paid to park in a lot at 13th and Bannock in Denver, CO on Saturday Dec. 13 2025. There was no paper ticket printed, and it was not required to place on the car's dashboard. I received a bill for $97.00 in the mail in early January 2026. The company, PRRS, said I was in non-compliance for unauthorized parking. I sent this company a photocopy of my card's transactions, which they would not accept as proof of payment. They then opted to lower their demanded payment by $20.00 as a measure of "good faith".
