"Someone has pressed legal proceedings against you" I got a call from 212-200-3034 from New York City and I live in North Carolina. She was nearly frantic telling me someone had pressed legal proceedings and to avoid jail I had call their legal team immediately. She didn't know who, what, when, where or why all she had was my number, name and that someone had started legal proceedings. I assume that had I called their legal team they would have asked for a legal fee to make the imaginary case disappear.
