I get 2 or 3 calls just about every day. They use different numbers to call from. The voicemail is this: " hi, this is Lucia calling about your personal line of credit. I'm the credit analyst working on your approval. I see that you had inquired before regarding a line of credit or a consolidation loan. And while it didn't move forward at the time, a few things have changed this year with rates and underwriting. If you are still interested in reviewing your options, press one now or give us a call back. You can reach me at 855-909-0886. I called this number from a business line to see how they answered. The person who answered was Sophia. She said her name and that they work with 25 banks. I said okay, but who do you work for? What is the name of your company? She repeated that she worked with 25 banks to try to get me a loan. I said who pays your paycheck. She then said, for training purposes, I am disconnecting this call now. The fact that she would not tell me the name of the company that pays her paycheck, this has got to be a scam.
