The website offered a "free personality test". ( I just went back to the website to see exactly how it goes): When done with the test, they ask for $1.95 to get your report. In very fine print, they do state: "By proceeding with payment, you agree to be charged $1.95 now, accept our Terms of Use, and acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy. Your payment will appear as "personality.co" on your statement. After 7 days, you will be billed $29.95 every 4 weeks until you cancel your subscription. You can cancel anytime. For any inquiries, contact us at [email protected] or call us at +1-315-325-8670." I stupidly gave them my card info. I was unaware I was signing up for a "subscription". There was nothing stated about what a "subscription" was for. I never received a report. I thought I was just paying 1.95 for the "test" and didn’t care that I didn’t get their silly report. I thought "2 dollars… whatever… silly me… " . I went on with my day! My bad: I didn’t notice the $29.95/month on my credit card for many months. I phoned. Outgoing message said to email. I emailed to request a full refund. I received a quick reply from "Madison Williams, Customer Support Specialist". She explained that their "Terms of Use" would not allow refunds beyond 30 days. She said they were giving me a refund for payments made within the past 30 days. (I have not yet seen this, but I am hopeful.) In summation: The "scam" here is that they offer a "free test" that is not free. It costs $1.95. They do not give the results of your test on the site. Then once they have your card, they immediately start charging 29.95 every 4 weeks for a "subscription" [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Personality.co] [Location: NY, USA- 12525]
