Received a text message to respond with a code, CLQ101, to phone # 318-895-1233 because Camellia K Talachi had won $80 million and wanted to share her winnings with 12 people. They would each receive $1,000,000. All they would have to do would be to pay up front with $300 in Apple gift cards and $2,200 cash. After this, I would be delivered $1,000,000 in cash by Sargeant Korey Noel to my home. He already had my address. He stated he is the only one who can deliver cash winnings and anyone else proclaiming the same thing is an imposter. He contacts you by text message, WhatsApp, and phone calls. When you don’t have the money, he will wait until you do. The gift cards were photographed and sent via text message. When I asked if it is a scam, I received text messages from others who have “won” saying it is not a scam and there are photos showing them opening a box containing $1,000,000. These text messages disappeared shortly after receipt. When I was still unsure, a phone call was made to me from supposedly a woman I used to work with. I missed the call, so “she” then texted me saying she too had won a $1,000,000 and I should follow through with getting the money to Mr Noel. “She” said once I received my winnings, we should get together and go out and celebrate. “She” also said a friend of hers had been scammed, but she finally received the cash from the real person. I then sent the real woman a Facebook message asking if she had indeed won $1,000,000. She said no, so it became very real to me then that it was all a scam. I’m out $300, but it could have been $2,500. I live on Social Security disability payments. The loss would have been devastating. The $300 is even too much for me to lose.
