On the late evening of 12/05/2025 or very early morning of 12/06/2025 I was approached on You Tube by an advertisement video supposedly of Dr. Mehmet Oz being interviewed by a new media person that I cannot remember at this time. References were also made to actress Kathy Bates. The video was a promotion of a product called GlucoSense. Several days later I learned that Dr. Oz said that any sales/promotion videos with his likeness were fake, probably AI. I purchased 6 bottles of GlucoSense on 12/06/2025 for $320.90 by credit card. I received the product on approximately 12/08/2025. I began to do more research and found news stories in which Dr. Oz. said that he had done no videos in which he supported the use of various diet and weight control products. On 12/09/2025 I sent an email to [email protected] asking for a refund; there is supposedly a 60 day time-frame to return the product for a full refund. I received no response to my email. After the holidays, I again contacted GlucoSense Support at 323-238-2047. I talked with Victor L., Employee ID 1726, who said that I needed to send an email to [email protected] and include the order number. He said that I should be contacted in 48 hours. I have not been contacted at all. I believe that whoever is behind this scam is waiting for the 60 days to run out. Also, like a different BBB Scam Alert, the credit card processor is CartPanda <-- BEWARE! I have emails, but have not included them given warning to not include personally identifiable information. Inferior product sales pitched by AI generated Hollywood personnel during hour long very elaborate infomercial. Email address was the only initial contact point until constant harassing led someone on their end to provide a phone number. Scam is exceptionally well done with paid actors in temporary settings pitching a product they personally know nothing about. The amount of money invested to produce such a scam must be astronomical, the sales pitch, the product production itself, even though made with common, everyday ingredients, would still cost these scammers a lot of time and effort.
