I would like to report a suspicious phone call I received from an individual claiming to be a representative from ADT. The caller stated that he assists with ADT services for the Poinciana locations and attempted to obtain personal information, indicating he was calling to offer a discount. When I asked for clarification, the caller was unable to reference any account notes and stated he did not see any notes on file. The call also did not originate from an ADT phone number, and the individual appeared unfamiliar with my account details. I advised that any legitimate information should already be documented, at which point the caller suggested I call back. Based on this interaction, the call appeared to be a phishing attempt rather than a legitimate ADT representative. I wanted to report this for awareness and documentation purposes.
