I was told that i had a medical bill from the Medical diagnostic laboratory. According to the caller I had blood work done on 01/27/2024. I had the following tests: CBC, CMP, calcium, Lipids and ESR. The caller said the bill for $600 needed to be paid. He said Medicare did not pay it because it was "out of network" and for some reason my other insurance had refused to pay. He refused to tell me what doctor or clinic had ordered the blood work because of HIPPA violations. When I said I would check with my doctor and call him back he told me his name was Skylar Lockman and told me I could call him back at 501-528-5020 EXT 1717. He said since I didn't pay immediately I would be reported to the three major credit bureaus and I would be charged an extra 45% of my original bill.
