Our company has been targeted by this scam operation by receiving what are evidently scam text messages. The scam text messages are being sent using "(806) 214-2069" and "(551) 417-3737". We called this scam operation, and the scammer on the phone claimed that "Our TM application has been referred to him by USPTO". This is not only false but also misleading, with procedural consequences. The guy on the phone identified himself as the CEO of the company under the fake name Blake; however, on their website, the CEO's name is Andy Garza. He also said that he is an IP attorney, which is doubtful. These are evident cases of scam activities. It is obvious that we never signed up to get those scam text messages from this scammer. We have no relationship with them and have never done business with them. We have no intention to do business with scammers. There is no unsubscribe link or clear way to stop those scam text messages. We are filing formal complaints with BBB, as well as the appropriate consumer protection agencies, such as the FTC, to report this activity and prevent further targeting of other individuals or businesses. A scam company from another state launched an aggressive and unwarranted attack on us over a basic trademark question. That's something we could have easily handled on our own. Their interference is completely out of line, and what we do is absolutely none of their business. In their scam text message, they said, "Our records indicate that your business mark application is currently on hold due to no attorney on docket, and an Attorney has now been assigned by TM Office to your application which will be updated in 24 hrs on your application". This statement is laughable and blatantly fraudulent. These are false representations designed to mislead. We will be filing formal complaints to hold them accountable for their decep [BBB Scam Type: Worthless Problem-solving Service] [Business: TrademarkWisely
