This was a read the bible in a year ad that I purchased about 3 weeks ago, today I noticed they were debiting my account $39.99 for a subscription service that I never signed up for. When I ordered the bible material it automatically added another item to the purchase that I didn't order or inquire about, I disregarded the additional item. When I spoke to the person of India decent she was only willing to give me 50% refund, I advised I was calling my bank and disputing the charges and reporting to BBB, she then refunded the full 39.99 stating it would take 7-10 business days. I ordered a book called The Bible In a Year. The company is called God is great shop. When I made the purchase I did not realize there was a monthly subscription of $39.99 attached to it. I guess somewhere on your purchase you need to check a box if you do not want the subscription. I had 3 $39.99 installments taken out of my bank account. I called the company today. Their number is 564-204-4127 I talked to a women that told me I could only get back $19.99. I then asked for a manager. Of course, no manager was available. I said A. make sure my subscription has been cancelled, B. I want all my money back C. I want to talk to a manager. I will wait for the manager. D. I’m calling BBB E. Please tell me how you sleep it night? I know a Karen move but come on!! She then said please do not contact BBB I refund all your money. So I said yes ok. The end. Please be careful of this Company.
