We answered a Facebook post offering Dryer Duct and HVAC Duct cleaning services for $170 on 2/22/2026. The service Rep "Adam" came on 2/23/2025 at 3:23 PM. He wore no company logo or id badge, did not have a business card, nor did his White Van have a company logo. He said he was here to clean our dryer duct and HVAC ducts for $170. He hooked up some type of vacuum to a register in our guest powder room. He said it would clean all of our duct work. ( We have some 21 ceiling registers). He did not clean any others. Outside, he cleaned out the Dryer Duct Exhaust port. When we asked if he was going to disconnect the dry hose from the wall mounted duct inside in our laundry room, he asked if my wife regularily cleaned the dryer's lint trap. When she said she did, Adam told us he did not need to clean the inside connection. He said his services included a free HVAC coil inspection, climbed into our attic and came back to show us a picture of what he said was Black Mold, "Dangerous to our health". Then he showed my wife some Pictures on his cell phone from Google showing treating Black Mold would cost between $ 2000- $5000; but he would do it for an additional $ 900. He then went back into our attic with a small towel and a half full 20oz bottle of what appears to be Zep Pro Spray. ( Available at Wal mart for $3.88. We wrote him a check for $1070 Which he requested we make payable to Ram Elkhamar, and we asked for a receipt. He texted a link to my wife's cell which we accessed and printed out a receipt. The receipt was from Ey Best Solution, 6015 North Interstate Avenue 217, Portland, OR 97217, phone #: 1-662-491-2214, website: eybestsolutions.com. ( We live in Myrtle Beah, SC). The bill was for "Mildew remova+Dryer cleaning". NOT for the Black Mold Treatment we had agreed to.
