The guy called from an Indiana number claiming he was in North Carolina. I asked him what his company name and phone number was. He identified himself as Clark Simms with Lakeside & Associates using phone number 802-536-8209. When I looked up the area code 802, it's a Vermont phone number, not North Carolina. He emailed me a document from a fake email address. When I told him I wanted to dispute the charges of $800 for a payday loan that I did not take out, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to "sign off on it and someone will be coming to my workplace to deliver papers".
