A letter was sent and upon looking up the provided name (Eric Henderson) and number (1-858-252-6781 for english, 1-858-252-5439 for spanish) i was led to a page about similar scams using the same names and numbers. A fake customer id (HDU1ABBS7734) was provided, an expiration date (3/9/2026 in this case), as well as a fake "HOME PROTECTION IDENTIFICATION CARD" printed on the letter. This letter claims to provide home warranty for things like AC/furnace, refrigerator, hot water heater, etc. It tries to urge you to call the numbers provided to keep your warranty intact.
