Received a official-looking tear-away envelope that mentioned my name & address in the window, as well as referencing "Secured by: WELLS FARGO BANK NA." Upon opening, it says it's from the "Home Warranty Division" and advises: It is important that you contact our office at 1-858-252-6781 upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage before 3/13/2026. This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at (my street address/city/state/zip), secured by WELLS FARGO BANK NA, may be expiring or has already expired. Our records indicate that YOU HAVE NOT CONTACT US yet to get your Home Warranty up to date. Refer to customer ID: ************" -- Not sure what this even is...nothing related to anything of mine! The other note included says: "We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after the Expiration Date of 3/13/2026. Please respond immediately by calling 1-858-252-6781. Sincerely, Eric Henderson - Program Director - 1-858-252-6781" Hours of operation are listed (M-F 7 am - 7 pm CST, Sat 9 am - 5 pm CST), as well as: Para Espanol: 1-858-256-5439. In fine print below that: "Please be advised that the amount you spend on home repairs or maintenance will continue to increase over time. That means that the average cost to fix or replace your Air Conditioner, Hot Water Heater, Furnace, Appliances, and others will only increase with the age of your home." And in EVEN SMALLER PRINT: "Not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder." The first tip off for me is that that is a previous mortgage holder. I'm also reporting it to Wells Fargo Bank. .css-c8hvdp{--Grid-columns:12;-webkit-flex-direction:row;-ms-flex-direction:row;flex-direction:row;min-width:0;box-si [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Home Warranty Division] [Location: MN, USA- 55044]
