I received a letter implied to be from a government agency saying that my car warranty is about to expire. In the place of a return address, it says: Official Business Penalty for Private Use $300 FORM 9550-WARR The header says: FINAL NOTICE: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED It correctly identifies my name, address, and make/model of owned vehicle. It claims that my car warranty is expiring on 12/24/2025 (Christmas Eve) and that their office is closed Christmas Day. It is soliciting a phone call to 1-877-854-9104 (English) or 1-877-647-5920 (Spanish). They specifically request the "Vin #" (sic) and mileage. Contacted in the mail about car warranty coverage. The mail was not directly from the dealership and had no official business name attached to it. It says official business penalty for private use $300. They’ll have form 9550-WARR along with the barcode at the bottom. They will have a 18778549104 for English. 1-877-647-5920 for Spanish.
