Letter is sent to address with general details of your name as a registered vehicle owner, a general description of your car, and that your car’s factory warranty is expiring. The letter arrives in a Presorted Mail envelope, and the only form of company or sender info present is “Official Business.” You are pressured in the letter that it is a Final Notice and you must contact either of the phone numbers listed at the bottom of the letter, one for English, one for Spanish. The letter has inconsistent capitalization of words throughout the letter, no other contact information or company / sender information is listed, and urges you with big bolded words to have information about your car made available. Letter was Presorted Mail, Permit No. 699, Zip Code 92799 Numbers listed were 1 (877) 854-9104 for regular contact and 1 (877) 647-5920 for Spanish. USPS will not furnish information about the business in possession of the permit so all you can do is lodge a complaint at the USPS Inspector’s office. I am not sure if a Freedom of Information Act request can be used to obtain information about the entity but hopefully this can serve as a warning for someone that may not be thinking clearly. This mailer has been sent to my house several times for someone that no longer resides here. It's a scam with return address "Official Business Penalty for Private Use $300 FORM 9550-WARR" stating to call and verify a 2024 Toyota Sienna and make sure everything is current. It says to refer to vehicle code ATU6459498. No website or email address is listed, nor any dollar amounts. Only a phone number: 877-854-9104.
