I was targeted by a call from a fake Montana phone number, (406) 518-2297 (real number is 877-838-9533), stating that I owe a debt to a company called City Bank. Informed me that I am being garnished, they would like to resolve the matter with me, and provided me with my last four digits of my social security number. I am not being garnished, have never taken a loan out from this company, and they could not even provide me with a date the loan was taken out, nor will they send debt information to my home address. They just wanted me to work on a payment to them. Voicemail below: I am calling on behalf of document delivery services. We have been retained to schedule and deliver legal documents to you between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM at either your home or your place of employment.
