To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a suspicious phone call received by our business from the phone number 971-389-8457, which displayed the caller ID as "Begert, Brindle." The caller claimed to be representing the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and requested the direct email address of the business owner, alleging that multiple case numbers and complaints had been filed against our company. Upon receiving this request, I terminated the call as I suspected it was a scam. Shortly thereafter, the same number called again and spoke with another team member. The caller, using the same name and number, reiterated that they were from the BBB and indicated that because the first call was disconnected prematurely, they intended to send a staff member accompanied by a police officer to our office later that day. The caller insisted on obtaining the business owner's direct contact information to avoid this visit. Given the aggressive nature of the calls and the threat of an in-person visit with law enforcement without prior official communication, we believe these calls to be part of a scam intended to intimidate or defraud our business. We request that this matter be investigated to prevent further harassment and potential fraud. Thank you for your attention to this matter. .css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-f [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: BBB Impostor] [Location: FL, USA- 32966]
