Agent "Micheal Stewart" at (310) 437-3551 Is Running a PCH Prize Fraud

By Ken Duggan · June 13, 2026

Publishers Clearing House is a real sweepstakes company that scammers have long used as cover. The calls described below are impersonation fraud, not contact from Publishers Clearing House.

What the Reports Describe

Community reports collected through BBB Scam Tracker and Reddit describe callers telling targets they have won a large cash prize from a PCH-sponsored giveaway. One BBB filing from June 2026 named an agent and directed the recipient to text (310) 437-3551 with a confirmation code. The message read, in part, "agent MICHEAL STEWART +1 (310) 437-3551 for confirmation and delivery of your prize. Text him with your confirmation code AQUTAK."

A separate Reddit thread from the same period described (310) 437-3551 as a Nigerian fake giveaway number, associated with Airtel Networks Limited out of Eti-Osa, Nigeria.

Other reports from May and June 2026 described callers claiming the target had won $5.5 million and a Mercedes-Benz, or $100,000 contingent on sending personal information. One post named a "Juan Hernandez" as the supposed prize agent. These are individual community reports, not confirmed findings from an enforcement agency, but the pattern they describe is consistent and recognizable.

The Numbers Associated With This Cluster

The following phone numbers appear in connection with this PCH giveaway impersonation cluster. None currently carry FTC complaint volume in our dataset, which may reflect how recently they surfaced.

If you have received a call from any of these numbers claiming you have won a prize, treat it as a scam approach until proven otherwise.

How the Scam Works

The mechanics follow a familiar script. A caller, text, or voicemail tells you that you have won a large prize. You are given a code or an agent name and asked to respond to confirm delivery. At some point, a request follows for personal information, a processing fee, or some form of payment. No prize exists. The confirmation step is the hook.

Legitimate sweepstakes, including those run by Publishers Clearing House, do not require winners to pay anything to receive a prize. They do not deliver prize notices through unsolicited texts directing you to contact a named agent at an unverified number.

What You Can Do

If a number from this list contacts you, do not follow prize confirmation instructions and do not send payment or personal data. Report the call to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
