They posted an ad on TikTok and when you click on it, it had Aerie (American Eagle) as the website header through faydelia.com I got a shipping confirmation and everything. Dollars Lost $40.78 [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Faydelia - Aerie Imposter Online Retail Scam] [Location: TX, USA - 75069]
An ad on TikTok for discounted Aerie clothing caught my eye and I ordered two shirts. The total cost of my order was $14.12. I received a confirmation email for my order, as well as an email that provided tracking information for the order. The tracking website provided is https://www.track718.us/en/detail?nums=YZKWL18775740QQ. This shows fictitious information and that the package was delivered, but it was not delivered to me. When attempting to access the website faydelia.com, it is not a functioning website. I emailed the company at [email protected] to request a refund, but they have refused to refund my money. After doing research online, it seems that Faydelia is a known scammer and that track718 is a known fake shipping tracker website. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-s [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Faydelia] [Location: IN, USA - 46112]
I was scrolling on Tiktok and came across a holiday sale ad which I believed was the company Aerie. It was November when you expect lots of sales to be happening. I clicked the link on the ad to the store site which looked exactly like Aerie. I ordered some items at heavily discounted rates, and waited for a confirmation email. When the confirmation email came I instantly became very suspicious because it was definitely did not look like an authentic Aerie email, in fact, they didn't even bother trying to be the retail store Aerie anymore, the confirmation email came from "Faydelia," and their now defunct website was at Faydelia.com. They did provide a (fake) tracking number, but nothing ever came in the mail. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 6 / var(--Grid-parent-columns) - (var(--Grid-parent-columns) - 6) * (var(--Grid-parent-columnSpacing) / [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Faydelia] [Location: TX, USA - 78613]
