securetrade.uk I’m just making a quick post regarding the website above. I’m surprised that there is no mention of securetrade.uk anywhere on Reddit. Basically, I was sent a referral link to join and start investing by staking crypto currency and rewarded with excellent returns. (Go to website for actual numbers, but I don’t want to advertise for them here.) Anyway, initially everything was going well and I was getting my investment returns automatically deposited into my account, however, once the investment amount got larger, I started being asked to “upgrade my account for a fee” that’s refundable, before releasing my earnings. Eventually, I was asked to open a coinbase wallet account and they would deposit my initial investment along with my earnings, which totalled $5k. The money was deposited, however, when I tried to move it back to my trustwallet, the money never transferred. When I asked why, they said I have to encrypt and sync my wallet for a fee of $3k and the money will get deposited automatically. It was then that I was sure I was scammed. That’s when I also discovered, by looking at the transaction on etherscan, that there was a contract attached and I must have signed it while doing “ the upgrading” to the account. If anyone is interested here is the transaction hash: 0x29ae4a7b89c93f6b3416a0102b395ada60f15352ebbd41e4679440a11e240708 Also, if someone can explain to me how to read the contract I would be forever grateful! Please share if you had a similar experience with that website. They seem to be very organized with groups where people post how great the website is and how much money they are making. Even now, they are still contacting me asking me to “encrypt” my wallet to get the money deposited. Thank you for reading, and be careful out there. If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably a scam!
