This scam operation contacted consumers through phone numbers 872-304-1490, 808-400-9543, and 877-913-1764, with callers falsely claiming to represent FIRST HAWAIIAN, INC. The scammers told victims that fraudulent transactions were on hold with their checking accounts and requested personal information, login credentials, and security codes while sending phishing links. Victims who engaged with these calls risked having their actual bank account credentials harvested by the fraudsters impersonating this legitimate banking institution.

When I searched for phone number of a missed call, 808-400-9543, a Middle Eastern sounding man left a message about a mortgage audit it said to call 872-304-1490. Scammer contacted me impersonating a local bank and saying there was a fraudulent transaction on hold with my checking account. Scammer sent a phishing link to harvest login info and requested the secure access code that was sent to me. I contacted bank customer service line and confirmed this was a scam, at the same time I received an email requesting to add an external account and transfer money out of my bank account. Final notice of home warranty and asking to call 877-913-1764 to prevent warranty lapse. Author of letter is Andy Perkins, Program Director. The notice doesn't identify the agency or business.
