Similar situation to previous poster. The call was returned to the number left on my voice mail of 877-265-2719, When I expressed skepticism and indicated I wanted to review my records as I had not had dealings with US Bank in over 20 years I was given a direct number to follow-up of 214-574-3147 to confirm if the original debtor would accept a settlement offer for payment. The person gave their name as Allison Reed and said she was with the litigation office and multiple attempts had been made to serve me these papers and various addresses I had lived at. Allison indicated if the offer to settle was accepted, the documents would be emailed to me and we would review together by phone. Then a website to login for the payment would be provided, she was unable to take payments directly at that office. They had the last four numbers of my SSN, previous addresses, current address, and email. Scarily convincing with enough personal information to make me wonder, but it didn't quite add up. @media (min-width:768px){.css [BBB Scam Type: Debt Collections] [Business: Collins Associates] [Location: OR, USA- 97054]
