Got a fbook messenger from a "business profile" Rosalina Denver claiming to want to buy something I had for sale on fbook marketplace. She pestered me and I finally gave her my venmo to send $. She then told me that she had a business venmo and that she forgot that she couldn't send me less that $500 so had to contact venmo. I then got an email from "venmo" telling me that the money was not able to be processed due to me not having a venmo account and gave me this number 480.965.0257 to contact. The number then called me and some Indian guy told me his name was peter Thompson with a fake title. He tried to explain to me that I needed to send $500 to venmo so they could start the transfer from the fake Facebook account. I kept saying this was a scam and the guy threatened me saying the line was being recorded by the FBI and CIA and I needed to stop staying and it was a scam. He then transfered me to some other "department" saying the Rosalina Denver person was also on the phone with them. They had it set up where someone was chatting in the background and you could here these guys speaking in some sort of middle eastern language to themselves while on the call. The 2nd guy sent me a link to share my screen to show me supposedly how to reverse the payment that had never been sent to me. I made the mistake of clicking on it and they were able to hack into my phone. I told them I needed to get off phone and would call them back the next day. The next day 3 numbers contacted me threatening me to return the fraud checks they had deposited into my account. These people deposited two fraud checks into my account then had several numbers texting me threatening to kill me, my family if I didn't don hat they said. They kept giving me accounts that were being blocked by my venmo to send money.
