Purchased airline tickets at a posted "Deal" advertised price of $222. and change for a 1 way ticket to Honolulu from DFW. Paid, receipt, booking number. Booked on the 23rd Dec. leaving 25th Chrustmas 5 am. Get email confirming "information" and promise of another email with Confirmation, boarding pass, E ticket. 24th I wake up with an email, Urgent! Been trying to call you several times with no success so emailed. I calledvthe number, some fast talking recrded person says something about a survey, call not urgent, if you wish to speak to someone press 7. I press 7, phone disconnects. One hour later, no call I repeat press 7. One hour again I repeat. I slso go to web site and find another number 505 439 1156. No person but phone answers to holiday music. Locate where I can send an email on thier site. Send asking where is my E ticket? At noon, Dec 24 I have tried the press 7 number 2 more times and call the 505 number. Someone answers. The problem is that my seat was not reserved because I did not answer tge phone in time(NEVER GOT A CALL) or did not respond to the email in time so if I want the reservation it will be an additional $400 and change. I told him itsxa scam. He said that according to the fine print I needed to cancel before 24 hours of flight, but if I had booked 21 days in advance then a cancelation fee would not be incurred. I asked "How in the hell could either one of these happen?" Infact if he would have answered when I first called it would have been 20 hours. He stated it was out of his hands because that is what the airlines require and NO ONE WAS WORKING TO TAKE MY CALL. While writing this I received a phone call from Quality Travels(?) And asked if I would like to cancel this reservation and if so a $100 cancelation fee would be charged. ($222.00 - 100 hence the money loss amount) .cs [BBB Scam Type: Other] [Business: Pocketfare] [Location: TX, USA - 76117]
