Martycole Property @martycole2 on tik tok. The tik tok page seems to be a realtor showing all the listing they have in each video, with addresses, the assumed rent, and floor plan. I texted the number on the video showing my interest in one of the listings for a 3bed/2bath apartment in Ansonia 40 Bassett St #2 CT 06401 Rent:-$1,300 Call or Text 712-524-9765. They were Rushing me to fill out an application so I can tour the apartment, so I did (https://2rgfelgf.forms.app/agent-registration-form#68de0c494513537d8a9f7c62=XXXXXSo) and in the application it asked for the application fee to be sent via Apple Pay, Zelle, Chime, or Bitcoin. I sent the application in, and they were hesitant to send a number for me to send the Apple Pay to so they asked if I can Zelle instead. I have already been alerted to the multiple red flags before so I asked if they can provide some sort of proof of their realtor license or show me their certification to perform this job in the state of Connecticut. They then proceeded to get hostile and said "I’m not down for games please You have to trust me and you can see my page it’s legit" and "You have to pay the application fee $100 to get you approved and it’s fully refundable back to you after you view the property if you’re not interested in the property thank you". The number they eventually sent to receive the Apple Pay is +1(509)9308559. I did not send any money to them, but I am also in IT Cyber and I am extremely familiar with red flags, which I know is not the case for my peers around me in Connecticut.
