In the market for a Skid Steer. Business advertisement on social media referred me to West Force Machinery Website. They claim 30 years in business and have review claims on their site but cannot verify the business or the reviews in discussion forums or google searches. They had listed a 2023 Kubota 75-3 w/ 162 hours for $37900. Tried the number on their website to inquire details and left a message. Recieved a return call from the number 1+(531) 999-6866 from someone with the name Jim and left a voicemail. This sounded like a AI generated call. Returned the call and spoke to a David. Started asking standard used Heavy Equipment condition questions to which he struggled to answer. David had a strong dialect that I could not pin down. It was obvious English was not his first language. David kept stating everything as US Dollar. Not Dollars. Had trouble simply saying the price of $37900. I had to keep saying do you mean $37900? Asked regarding Taxes, fees, shipping to which he quoted me an unbelievably low price on an already below market value piece of equipment. When i asked about accepted forms of payment he only gave cash and wire transfer as an option. I inquired bout Debt Card, Credit Card, Bank Check, etc. Only cash and wire transfer were accepted which added to already suspicion and red flags. When I asked to confirm the business address so I could make the trip ou this weekend to take a look at the machine and finalize the sale, David hung up.
