I called Medicare to report someone else’s service charges under my account and showing on my recent summary notice. I was transferred to another person informing me I was lucky because I will receive a free emergency necklace. After I gave them my name, address and answered some health questions they informed me I would have to pay the monthly fee for the alert signals or something like that. I said I didn’t want the necklace and hung up, because she was giving me a sales pitch again and would not transfer me to a supervisor when asked.
